Here's a pair of vintage
CUSTOM
OUTDOOR SPEED ROLLER SKATES without wheels.
I believe they are from the
1970s.
No size marked but seem to be a
Men's U.S. size 7.
(Inside footbed is 10 3/8")
Boots are an unknown brand made in Canada (see logo and if you happen to know brand I'd appreciate an email :)). Logo says "Fabrique Au Made In Canada".
Boots have eyelets all the way to the top of the boot. Plates are unmarked and appear to be custom made.
Quite an ingenious set up and I can't find another quite like it on the Internet. "Trucks" are able to be moved forward and backward on the plates so you can adjust the wheelbase to your exact liking or for a particular racing event.
Skates have a great patina and I have left them as found. Boots have some scratches and scuffs. Inside tongue padding is still good. Leather toe guards are particularly scuffed. Rubber toe stops wheels, and plates all have normal light wear. One of the laces has some fraying. No insoles. Overall
VERY GOOD VINTAGE CONDITION.
