    Description

    Roller Skates.  Very unique roller skates that are very hard to come by.  Designed by Frog Design in Germany, these are some creatively made roller skates like no other.  The design is included in the Philadelphia Museum of Art.
    Date:  1987-1988
    Size:  Unknown - Appears to be around size 8 or 9
    Frog design, founded by Hartmut Esslinger in 1969, approached the design of ordinary objects in a radical way, rejecting functionalism and adhering to the principle that "form follows emotion." These frollerskates, created a hundred years after roller skating became a popular pastime, have been technically and conceptually rethought. Lightweight polyurethane is used for the shell, allowing the wheels to be integrated into their exuberantly modern design.
    Would need some restoration / repairs if desired.  Could display as is.
