    Large antique Schutzendorf Original Porcelain Ashtray, US Coastguard Detachment, Annette Isl., Alaska

    The ashtray measures a whopping 9.5"x 7.5" and is 2.75" tall (half bowl design).  Very clean...in very good to excellent condition...
    cast and hand painted by Schutzendorf, Kodiak, Alaska.
    Quite a nice piece...the pics don't do it justice. Most likely cast in the 1950's or early 1960's (the Albatross was phased out of service in the early 1960's).  From a smoking-free home.
