Vintage Mid Century Modern Art Smith-style large brass sunburst brooch

This is a large (a little more than 4 inches  in length and 3 inches wide) Vintage Mid Century Modern Art Smith-style brass brooch.   Art Smith - Arthur George "Art" Smith - was was of the few African American mid century modernist jewelers.    This large jewelry brooch is NOT signed by him.  This piece of jewelry is in the same mid century modern genre.
It is a brass sunburst with sunrays with hammered tapered ends.  There is a brass loop for threading a chain to wear as a necklace.  If you are not into jewelry but like MCM, it would look cool dangling from a door knob or used as a ceiling fan pull.
