Six Vintage Matchbooks and Matchbox
The Horseshoe Club & The Gardena Club
Six (6) different (some look very similar) matchbooks and matchbox from Los Angeles poker card rooms, The Gardena Club and The Horseshoe Club (Gardena, California). These matches are from around the 1950s due to the formatting of the phone numbers. 5/6 are unused and unstruck; the black striped matchbook is missing one match and its strike pads has been used. Matchbooks are the standard 1.5" x 2" size; the matchbox is about 2" x 1.5" x .5".
