  • Condition: This vintage item is in used condition. Item has surface wear and tear, including scratches, dings, and other surface damage. Battery and cord departments are clean and have both covers. I was able to test some functions. Eject button works. When I plugged it in, and turned the volume up, I heard a hissing noise like you hear at the end of a tape when it's done playing. I did not have a cassette tape that fit this device so I could not test any recording or playing functions. I obtained this item at a store which sells used merchandise. We are a non-smoking family.     Description:
    Up for sale is this neat used vintage GE Two-Way Power Model M-8415B Cassette Player
    and Recorder, AC/DC.  Device takes either 4D cell batteries (not provided) or 117 volts,
    60 Herz, 5 Watts, using the electrical cord.  I tested some functions, but was unable to
    tests the play and record functions as I do not have a compatible cassette tape.  It does
    power on, and the volume adjust button works.  The eject button works properly as shown
    in the photo.  I obtained this item at a store which sells used merchandise so I do not
    know any history on the item or the owner.  We are a non-smoking family.  See photos and
    remarks above to evaluate the condition of this item.
