Description
This is an anodized aluminum vase designed by Eliot Noyes for ALCOA. This vase was created in 1959 as part of the Aluminum Company of America (ALCOA) Design Forecast program and publication which brought together leading 20th century designers including Charles Eames, Paul McCob, Eliot Noyes, Alexander Girard, and Isamu Noguchi to create items from the exciting novel material. In this case Noyes created a viridian green vase from a single piece of lightweight aluminum that was formed with a smooth interior and a sine-wave-textured exterior. The vase is watertight.
There are a few minimal signs of use including couple of small nicks to rim. I did my best to photograph all light wear, including wear to the interior. Free domestic shipping. Contact me for international shipping needs.
