Vintage 1970's Lot of 8 Eight University of Massachusetts in Amherst 3 1/2 by 5 1/2" Postcards
You are bidding on a Vintage 1970's Lot of 8 Eight University of Massachusetts in Amherst 3 1/2 by 5 1/2" Postcards.
Details of each of these postcards follows:
1. University of Massachusetts in Amherst SW Residence Area 3 1/2 by 5 1/2" Postcard- This reads on the reverse- "University of Massachusetts in Amherst, Southwest Residence Area, showing low and 22 story high rise dormitories." This also reads "….…natural color company, inc., boston, mass. 02130……." top to bottom center on the reverse. It also indicates Plastichrome and has P70806F in the stamp box. This has some light corner wear and the left edge has perforation bumps (from where it was likely separated from another postcard).
2. University of Massachusetts in Amherst So. Dining Commons 3 1/2 by 5 1/2" Postcard- This reads on the reverse- "University of Massachusetts in Amherst, South Dining Commons, known to the students as the Kopper Kettle." This also reads "….…natural color company, inc., boston, mass. 02130……." top to bottom center on the reverse. It also indicates Plastichrome and has P70797 in the stamp box. This has some light corner wear, a very tiny, barely noticeable wrinkle near the bottom edge and the left edge has perforation bumps (from where it was likely separated from another postcard).
3. University of Massachusetts in Amherst Memorial Hall 3 1/2 by 5 1/2" Postcard- This reads on the reverse- "University of Massachusetts in Amherst, Looking west across campus pond to Memorial Hall." This also reads "….…natural color company, inc., boston, mass. 02130……." top to bottom center on the reverse. It also indicates Plastichrome and has P70789 in the stamp box. This has some light corner wear and the left edge has perforation bumps (from where it was likely separated from another postcard).
4. University of Massachusetts in Amherst Goodell Library 3 1/2 by 5 1/2" Postcard- This reads on the reverse- "University of Massachusetts in Amherst, Goodell Library, Central University Library." This also reads "….…natural color company, inc., boston, mass. 02130……." top to bottom center on the reverse. It also indicates Plastichrome and has P70795 in the stamp box. This has some light corner wear, a very tiny, barely noticeable wrinkle in the top left edge and the left edge has perforation bumps (from where it was likely separated from another postcard).
5. University of Massachusetts in Amherst Old Chapel 3 1/2 by 5 1/2" Postcard- This reads on the reverse- "University of Massachusetts in Amherst, Old Chapel, Erected in 1885." This also reads "….…natural color company, inc., boston, mass. 02130……." top to bottom center on the reverse. It also indicates Plastichrome and has P70806B in the stamp box. This has some light corner wear, a 1 inch wrinkle in the bottom edge (towards the left) and the right edge has perforation bumps (from where it was likely separated from another postcard).
6. University of Massachusetts in Amherst Student Union 3 1/2 by 5 1/2" Postcard- This reads on the reverse- "University of Massachusetts, Student Union." This also reads "….…natural color company, inc., boston, mass. 02130……." top to bottom center on the reverse. It also indicates Plastichrome and has P70787 in the stamp box. This has some light corner wear, a small V shaped wrinkle in the bottom edge (towards the right) and the left edge has perforation bumps (from where it was likely separated from another postcard).
7. University of Massachusetts in Amherst in Winter 3 1/2 by 5 1/2" Postcard- This reads on the reverse- "University of Massachusetts in Amherst, Winter scene of campus showing Memorial Hall and Old Chapel." This also reads "….…natural color company, inc., boston, mass. 02130……." top to bottom center on the reverse. It also indicates Plastichrome and has P70792 in the stamp box. This has some light corner wear, a small almost like a bit-mark wrinkle in the top edge (towards the left) and the left edge has perforation bumps (from where it was likely separated from another postcard).
8. University of Massachusetts in Amherst Bartlett Hall 3 1/2 by 5 1/2" Postcard- This reads on the reverse- "University of Massachusetts in Amherst, Campus scene showing Bartlett Hall." This also reads "….…natural color company, inc., boston, mass. 02130……." top to bottom center on the reverse. It also indicates Plastichrome and has P70790 in the stamp box. This has some light corner wear, a very tiny wrinkle near the bottom left corner and the left edge has perforation bumps (from where it was likely separated from another postcard). >
All the postcards I am listing are from my childhood collection from the late 1960's and early 1970s. All are unused and for the most part are crease or wrinkle free.
