    This patch dates to the 1990s?
    It is a large size 5" wide and 5" tall color patch.
    It is computer sewn, 70% embroidered on blue surface embroidered cloth, with a merrowed edge and an sealed back.
    This patch appears to be a subsequent run or reproduction of the original patch introduced before 1982.
    This patch is distinguished by its sealed back and partial embroidery on surface embroidered cloth (you can see the cheesecloth on the back).
    The original patch was fully embroidered and has an unsealed back.
    The styles of sewing of each design also vary.
