    EAGLE is the cadet training cutter for the US Coast Guard Academy.
    Since being taken as a prize from the Germans after World War II, she has
    sailed all over the world as a training cutter for Academy cadets and as a good will ambassador for the US.
    This patch was introduced before 1989.
    It is a new, medium size 5" wide and 3" tall color cp shield patch.
    It is computer sewn, 40% embroidered on black cloth, with golden yellow merrowing
    and an unsealed (sew-on only), sewn-thru paper over fine cheesecloth, back.
