Rare Beveled Edge on this Oval Marble
PARLOR TABLE
The marble is original - no cracks
CIRCA 1800’s
The marble top started life on this table base
PLEASE NOTE:
two (2) Legs were broken and repaired a long time ago….
PLEASE NOTE:
One leg was glued back together with its original broken piece
However:
the other broken leg was lost… and replaced with a secondary wood NOT a piece of walnut
The base has its original finish which is clean, with a very nice old patina
The base is sturdy /
I just mention The repairs for accuracy.
It was being used in a fine old Victorian home when discovered
Rare Marble Beveled Edge that warrants the Base Restoration
