A little bit about Metal cast toy & novelty company. They sold moulds to people that wanted to make a business in selling toy casting. Or to someone that just want to cast toys for there kids or themselves. They DID NOT sell figures, just moulds. They would supply you with all the necessary parts. Like wheels, axles, springs, Etc. In essence all there figures are HOME CAST. This is also why you don’t see to many of them around is because there moulds were and are very difficult to use. They were not vented properly. So casting from them is hard, you need to re-vent there moulds in order to use them, not all of them but some. This is why you never know if your getting a old casting or a newly casted one. Cause the moulds are still around.
Each one of my conversions is hand crafted from a original Barclay, Manoil Metal Cast H B Toys Etc figure as it’s base. Then that original figure is stripped of all its paint and cut apart. New parts are made of non-ferrous metals to reconfigure the figure. Making a brand new figure that’s never been made by the original company, such as Barclay, manoil Metal Cast, H B Toys. Making each one of my conversions unique and one-of-a-kind. So your getting a prototype so to speak
My Toy Conversions were featured on the cover of Old Toy Soldier Magazine. With a 4 page spread on the inside of the Magazine
