Up for bid is a vintage
Amsterdam, NY postcard.
This card features a great look at the "Public Library" as it appeared in
this charming upstate city
at the beginning of the last century.  Give yourself a treat and supersize image 1 so you can better see the the details.
This authentic antique postcard has not been postally used and has no handwriting the
divided back.
NOTE:  Production of undivided back postcards stopped after 1907 due to a change in policy by the US Postal Service, and an agreement with the international postal community.  This agreement ushered in the "divided back era" and allowed messages to be handwritten on the reverse of postcards.  This undivided back card does not have a vertical line that separates the address from the message sides.
That puts its age at about 110
years old!

CONDITION
:
Expected light soiling and corner blunting.  A bit of surface and edge wear.  No creases, stains or rips.  A very small, light handwritten name at the bottom edge.  Clear image.  Nice condition for this 110 year-old antique.
