    Description

For your consideration is this pair of bentwood mid century lounge chairs by Philippe Starck for Aleph. They are made of what appears to be mahogany bent plywood with black leather upholstery and a tubular metal frame. They measure 34 1/4" tall at the back and 24 1/4" wide across the front. They remain in very nice, structurally sound as found condition with a few minor scuffs and scrapes. Each chair has a scuff, one about 8" long, the other about 3", on the outside edge right where the back of your arm would hit. (see photos) There are also a couple other small color chips as well as a scratch in the finish that is right in the middle of the very back on one of the chairs. (again see photos) The black leather is fine, with no issues. This is a stylish pair of chairs that could be put right into use as they have been for years or with a little effort could be touched up and made perfect. I'll leave that up to you. The photos turned out darker than I would have liked so I apologize for that. Please study them and ask any questions you may have. First I will say I am always happy to work with your shipper. Otherwise, blanket wrap delivery could be available to certain areas of the US. Please e-mail with location. During normal times I do get to Atlanta, Chicago and St. Louis on a regular basis, or as always you are welcome to pick up in central Illinois. Thanks.
