    Description

    This spool is 5 inches high and about 3 inches in diameter. I can make out the word "England" on the top but that's about all. The rest has worn away. The color is a beautiful lavender shade. I'm not sure what it was used for. It is not as thick as butcher paper twine but rather thin, but thicker than say quilting thread.
