Vaughn makes the Velocity VE8 Junior with Ultralight HD foam to increase protection and reduce weight. They lined the sternum plate with HD foam and carbon fiber. They added extra protection to the heart guard under the shoulder floaters.
Vaughn created the shoulder floaters with four strategic cuts that conform to your body. They added side rib cage protection extensions. You’ll find them comfortable with their seamless edges under the arms to reduce the risk of side stingers.
The VE8 Junior has Velcro attachment points at the shoulder blades to connect the shoulder floaters, shoulder caps and spine plate. You can tailor the chest protector for you own preferences with the adjustment straps.
