Mid Century Modern Vladimir Kagan Cloud or Serpentine Couch / Sofa by Directional Furniture of High Point ,North Carolina.  Fantastic Eggplant Purple color. Still has the original fabric of Ultrasuede or mohair like material in excellent condition. It has the two pedestals base with the lexan clear plastic support underneath. It still has the original Directional Furniture tag attached. This sofa has never been recovered or reupholstered and is in it's excellent original condition. Rare to find in this original excellent condition being this old but the sofa has seen very very little use over the decades and has been used mostly for the striking artistic statement it makes.
I am the second owner and have enjoyed this piece displayed in my home for the last 15 years. I bought this from the elderly original owner who had purchased it brand new from Mr. G's Furniture (?) from the Beverly neighborhood of Chicago. I had the original purchase receipt but it has been misplaced. If I ever come across it (?) it will be forwarded to the new owner of this beautiful classic Kagan couch.
It measures about 98" in length and about 51" at the deepest/widest and is about 29" tall.
It does have the original Directional Furniture tag attached to bottom rear of the sofa I just had trouble getting a pic of it.
