    You are admiring a longtime favorite of mine & Murex collectors worldwide, a Pterynotus miyokoae (Kosuge, 1979), w/operculum & measuring quite large at 63.2mm and graded F+++...absolutely a breathtaking form with beautiful, flared varices & an outstanding color pattern is displayed on this amazing, super deep H2O specimen.  This beauty was collected in tangle nets at 100-150m off Samal Island, Mindanao, Philippines.  An amazing Muricidae species, once considered very rare & although it is more widely available today...it is still considered a treasure in any collection.  Thank you for visiting our store this afternoon...and an excellent choice, too.
