Canon Remote Zoom Control Model ZSD-31M

Description

This great Canon remote zoom devise is in perfect condition and has been on my tripod furnishing me great zooms  for the past 5 years..
The zoom also looks near new as the pictures will testify, but now at 95 years of age it is time to sell my toys. For those individuals who are confused by the similarity with the  300 series, kindly allow me to explain  the difference.
The 300 series came out first and has been a staple zoom device for at least 10 years among professionals.. The price new for the 300 series is over ,200.00, But the 31 series which came our later costs over that. Why the company chose to use lower numbers on this model is a mystery to me, but the 31 had two upgrades over the 300 series: ONE.  The long external 8 pin cable  connected to the 31 series has been changed to exit the 31 model  straight down instead of the older 300 front end exit.
This was a very wise change because this eliminates all tension on the fine wires in the exiting loom of wires in the cable. TWO. The other improvement  was a inlaid  plastic band of numbers on the speed control of the 31 series, instead of the flimsy cigar like band used on the 300 series that is easily lost.
Otherwise the two models  are exactly the same
