Art deco safari armchair, leather belt armchair in colonial style, genuine hand-sewn British thick leather. The frame is made of pine wood and polished by hand.
General:
The article imitates antiques from bygone times - it was newly manufactured according to an old template. The incorporated signs of use ensure the antique character and are intended to underline the nostalgic appearance. Therefore, these signs of use are intentional and do not represent a quality defect.

Legend:
As a rare positive by-product of colonialism, this armchair is one of those things that were created free of stylistic design intent, that is, are fundamentally useful and thus blindly expose that imperishable structure that is eternally inscribed in the collective memory. Not every functional thing is beautiful, but eternal pleasure requires structural clarity. Klint wanted to design a piece of mobile seating and could no longer forget that vague image of a British officer's chair that he had once seen. So he created this collapsible armchair that convinces in detail. The high-quality covers, the rocking backrest and its amazing size make it the ideal recliner. The high level of comfort, which the taut construction does not suggest, is surprising. This chair is based on the original design of a Safari Chair by the Danish designer Kaare Klint from 1933. The finest materials have been carefully handcrafted to create a successful piece of furniture.
