    Description

    This vintage antique wooden commode/chamber pot is missing the inside seat and ceramic pot.
    However, it could be a marvelous accent piece and it is in excellent condition.
    This is a super piece that could be used as vanity stool or other decorative piece. It measures about 15 inches wide, 23 inches long, and 17 inches high. The lid opens up and the compartment space can be used for storage, that area is about 5 inches high and 20 inches long. This piece of furniture is in fabulous condition. The lid/cushion is covered with a nice stripped upholstery. There is a stamp on the inside of the lid but we really can’t determine what it says. We acquired this item from and estate sale in New Orleans and have no way to date the actual circa, but it seems to be several decades old from the hardware and patina. We estimate the circa early 1900's.
