    Description

    An incredible nearly complete circa 1940 Ice Hockey Goalie's uniform / equipment! Lot includes Stall & Dean Puckmaster gloves, matching S&D leg pads, exceptionally rare James Bailey Portland Maine pants, padded leather wool Boston Made jersey with chest protector, woolen sleeves, and a Franklin 6290 plastic face mask with leather and cotton straps. Possibly missing just skates, elbow pads and helmet. Pants, short and sleeves are all very rare. Leather in good shape with patina. Size 36 Pants have a 1" tear near crotch. Maker to shirt/jersey worn off (I can read Boston Mass) Gloves with penned Lisbon Skating Club (probably New Hampshire). Owner is unknown, but apparently went off to WWII within a few years. A great gift for the professional goalie. imagine uniform fully dressed on a mannequin!
