Pettit Trucks & Equipment, llc is a family owned and operated business. We have moved to Edgerton, Wisconsin in January of 2013 from Rockford, Illinois. We formerly were known as Pettit Auto Sales and Pettit Trucks. We have been in business since 1965. The opportunity to move our business closer to our campground, Lakeview Campground and bar, came up so we took the plunge and moved to our new location at 360 Haugen Road, Edgerton, Wisconsin, 53534, which is just off I-90-I39, Exit Number 160. We are right in the middle of Madison and Janesville, Wisconsin, about 30 miles north of the Illinois/Wisconsin border.
We strive to provide affordable trucks and equipment to the everyday hardworking person. You never know what you are going to find around here, as we are always changing our inventory. We sell all types of specialty trucks and equipment. We welcome Pre-Buy Inspections and Guarantee clean titles on all vehicles sold. Winning bidders must contact us by telephone within 24 hours of auction closing or vehicle may be sold to another purchaser or relisted at sellers discretion. We require payment in full within 3 days of auction closing. There are no additional Byers Fees For Internet Purchases. Payment must be cashier's check, or cash in person. We do accept personal checks or credit card payments. If you pay by Personal Check the check must clear before the Item leaves our property. In special circumstances we will accept a bank letter with your personal check. Please call us with any questions or concerns. Please be advised you need to pay the necessary taxes when making payment for your purchase. Wisconsin residents with be required to also pay license and titling fees while out of state buyers are responsible for all state and county taxes and fees, as well as title/registration fees in the state that the vehicle will be registered.
