    This is a Great lot of 2 Vintage US Coast Guard Enameled Lapel Pins. The 1

    Sterling Silver pin measures about 3/8” square, with red & blue enameling. It has a shield in the center, with red flag like stripes, surrounded by a blue circle, and in the background are the head & ends to 2 crossed anchors. In the blue circle it says “United States Coast Guard 1790”, and in the center above & below the shield it says “Semper Paratus”. The back has a simple spring pin & clasp, and says “Sterling”. The 2

    pin measures 5/8” across, and is made of brass, with blue enameling. It says in the blue circle around the center “US Coast Guard / Honorable Discharge”. There is a central image of a Shield shaped Flag, with crossed anchors in the background. The back of the pin has a screw post & round nut.
