1940 Chevrolet Classic

Description

This is a 1940 Chevy Business man coupe. It is a master 85. This is a recent barn find, I spent 2 days on the motor and got it running great. I believe the motor to be a 216 6 cyl. Did a complete tune up, New battery , New Coil , New Wires , New plugs , New points and condenser. Rebuilt the carburetor and it started right up and ran smooth with no smoke. When i started it the oil gauge and amp gauge worked. The car would have to be towed home this is a running project , the trany is out of the car so it does not drive and the starter sticks but its a fun project.

#2 I have 2 standard transmissions for it
#3 I have two extra bumpers with brackets for it
#4 I have a good back window for it
#5 I have the original taillights for it
#6 I have the original front seat for it
#7 I have all the inside window trim
#8 I have a lot of transmission parts, mounts and brackets
#9 I have the original radio for it
The floors show that they have two patch panels on them but look to be really solid. The body is solid with very little rust for the year. This would make a great hot rod or there are enough parts to put it back to original. I was going to build this car for my self, but recent health problems force me to sell it. I have a California title ( Pinkslip ) with two license plates, they are the blue and yellow plates with a vin tag on the A piller and a bill of sale from the last owner and from me, This would make a great Gasser or curiser for the hamburger joints
